Responsibilities for a RN Wellness Nurse with Phoebe Berks:
Assists Director in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the holistic wellness program for the independent living Village residents and manage the aging in place process. Assists in completion of clinical/cognitive and social assessments on all Village residents at specific time intervals. Arrange for support service referrals and education as appropriate. Coordinate referrals to campus fitness, activity and pastoral care programs as indicated. Attends interdisciplinary Wellness staff meetings to review/discuss assessment data, develop support plans and/or expand programming options. Responsible for performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents.


Requirements for a RN Wellness Nurse with Phoebe Berks:
  • The ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families, and coworkers.
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing; current Pennsylvania license to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of (1) one year in related positions desired.
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, and incompatibilities; current CPR certification.
